2024 Camp Dates Announced!
The Nike Arizona Elevate Cross Country Camp offers outstanding training, educational breakout sessions and more.
Join former US National Team Member Sara Slattery and former Canadian National Team Member Matt Lincoln for a week of high altitude training in the beautiful Arizona landscape.
Sara Slattery begins her 7th season as the GCU men’s and women’s cross country head coach in 2021 after a successful career as a NCAA and professional athlete. Since her arrival at GCU, every distance school record has been broken in cross country and track. Every women’s school record in a distance event, save for one, was broken in 2018 and only one men’s distance record still stands from 2017. Then in 2021, the school record book was rewritten in every men’s and women’s outdoor distance event (800m -10,000m), except for one.
Coach Matt Lincoln begins his 7th year at Chandler High School working with the Wolves cross country and distance teams. During his first 6 seasons at Chandler, the Wolves squads have won 10 state championships. He was named USTFCCCA Girls cross country coach of the year for Arizona in 2015 and the NFHS Arizona and West Sectional girls cross country coach of the year in 2017. Under his watch, the school records in cross country and distance events have been broken 34 times and the girls 4x800m have won 4 straight state championships.
Escape the heat of the summer and enjoy 5 days of XC running with others who share the love of Cross Country. Join us for cooler temperatures, a traditional camp atmosphere, and a taste of training at altitude!
Located approximately 6 miles NW of Prescott, Emmanuel Pines is conveniently located less than 150 miles from Phoenix Int’l Airport and Scottsdale.
Daily training includes trail runs, as well as break out sessions with guest speakers, discussing such topics as nutrition, race strategy and tactics, and running collegiately.
Aside from training, Arizona Elevate XC Camp provides daily fun activities, including field trips to nearby lakes and parks. This camp will help campers develop as a runner, while gaining self-confidence and making new friends.
