At Sant Tan Charter School, All Around Learning Center hosts Computer Game Design and Robotics Club.
The Computer Game Design Club is an amazing program for learning computer game design. It’s easy to learn, but hard to master, which motivates students for further learning after completing our camp. Kodu uses a simple visual programming language that allows students to create their imaginary world and share their program with others. We will design cool landscapes, move around various terrain, add characters to our fields and more. The 3D game-making environment and visual logic will definitely impress and challenge the students.
The STEM Robotics club is a perfect opportunity for students to explore LEGO Mindstorms Robots. We will build, program and have a hands-on fun experience with our robot designs. Students will have a chance to create their own vehicles, animals, humanoids, and more… Light, sound, motion, and touch sensors will enhance our robots. The designs will be field-tested in various challenge courses and we can’t wait to see the student’s innovative projects in action.
