Searching for a preschool or kinder prep program is overwhelming to say the least. With so many variables that go into choosing a program, it’s easy to lose sight of what is most important for your family. Our best piece of advice is to make a list of your “must haves” and “wants” to get an idea of what you’re really looking for in an school. Your next step is to tour facilities. Personally, we do not feel that visiting websites and facebook pages are a complete representation of what a program is about. One of the most important steps in finding the RIGHT preschool program for your family is to meet the teachers and staff and get a first hand look at the classroom where they will be spending their time. Most of the time you will know within the first 5 minutes of your tour if that program will be a good fit.
We love meeting new families and sharing what our program is about. Because we are a small private school, it is extremely important that we determine if our program is the right fit for you as well as for us. Our state license allows us to have no more than 10 students per class, and with such a small group we are very much like a family. At Prodigy Learning Center you really get the best of both worlds with our ECE programs in that we offer a smaller, less intimidating learning experience from preschool all the way through kindergarten prep while challenging each child according to their capabilities. Our hope is that when you tour our school and meet us, you and your child feel at home. We are not just teachers. We are mothers who have been in your shoes. We take our responsibility of nurturing and teaching your child seriously and we want you to feel comfortable knowing that your child is in good hands. Choose us because we are invested in your family.
Prodigy Learning Center offers an accelerated academic based curriculum. We strive for our students to collectively achieve academic growth as well as social and emotional readiness before they reach kindergarten by introducing classroom etiquette, practicing following directions, focusing on and completing tasks, and learning how to function in a group setting.
We achieve all these things successfully by maintaining a low student/teacher ratio which provides us with an optimal learning environment where we can easily asses the individual needs of our students. Our excellent 2 year program begins in preschool at age 3 introducing your child to the classroom and carries them all the way through Pre-k 4/5 where they sharpen their classroom skills as well as develop a love for learning.
